When you start to fire yours can you let me know if you have this problem. where the bolt doesant seat the round completely in the chamber and it just kind jams the round against the prong looking pieces that come off the chamber, and bends the round.

3inch 12ga from S&B with 15-00 buckshot X 11rds (10 rds in magazine + 1 chamber)=165 double ought pellets.

That is a lot of lead and grainage going down range.
Can't think of many other shotguns that can put that much lead down range, except for DD.

By the way, how reliable are the drum mags?

I've seen quite varied prices for these..what is a good price for the 12's..as well as the 10 round mags..and what's with the 400.00 prices on the 20 round drums...I wouldn't mind picking up one of these with a half dozen 10 rounders & a couple drums, but at these prices....I'm rethinkng things...someone twist my arm...

my buddy bought it when it first was imported.
He paid a paltry 219 for it.

I didn't get it then because the price made me think it was a POS. :wall: :wall: :wall:

that is the same reason i didnt get 1 a long time ago too. that and because it was so cheap i said i would buy that when i was more "broke" lol....

the 10rd mags are going for a LOT more now since they are hard as hell to find....the 20rd drums are going for WWAAAAAYYYYY too much...279 new at atlanticfirearms but out of stock...but yet on GB they are going for 500 and more....

After fitting it as per instructions I have run 200 rds through it and only had 1 FTF and I think it was due to the ammo as it was the last round from the first loading and I was using Kent mid brass 6 shot 1,1/8 oz 3 dram. After I slicked up the action I have been able to shoot everything on gas setting 1 and I dont need to use 2 at all :D which is advantagous as if you leave it on 2 and shoot hi-brass you can beat the heck out of your top cover and shoulder.

One of the most common "pet peeves" with the saiga , is if you load the magazine, over time the plastic hull of the shell will bend into an oval shape, causing loading issues.
That is, if your using magazines.

If you were refering to the drum, then I don't know what do say... that sucks.

agparms.com
Get them directly from the maker.

They will be making a new batch of 10rd mags between now and the end of DEC.
That would be the safest way to go IMHO.

Good luck!!! :guns:

So I still have not gotten my mags, but my muzzle brake is in the mail. Now I have a question about the 2 diff gas levels. For 00 buck and slugs shouldthe notch point to the 1 or 2? I don't want to blow this up LOL

All high brass should be fired on 1. Only use 2 for ammo that wont cycle on 1 and dont
AND I MEAN DONT leave it in 2 with high brass 2 3/4 mag and 3 mag ammo. Your top cover will fly off and smack you after it beats itself loose.

I've had this a while, massaging it into the bane of all zombies. Never shot it, though, but doubt it's a Vodka special. Still have to paint the triggerguard. I chose the paint for the cover and handguard before I got the SAW grip, so I'm gonna have to find a better color match. I was gonna anodize these parts, but it's too expensive right now. Also need an underfolding stock and iron sights. All it takes is $$. I'm also after some of those clear mags...

Update: I ended up reusing the factory stock for now to save a buck. It's a good shooter, almost cycles target loads every time on setting 1.
