Yes, but FB has killed most forums. The one thing that FB can't replace is the static data. I share info from here on FB and use the forum as a data base.

Yeah wastebook. I have been suspended a few times already. Probably only a matter of time before EA's page gets banned. This is why I have created a bitchute and Minds EA pages.

I deliberately keep data segmented as much as possible.
So yea, FB is ok for some kinds of interactions, but I just don't like the idea the idea of them attaching my gun hobbies along with every other possible piece of data they can find about me and then selling it to the highest bidder.
I'd rather the individual forums do it piecemeal so that if someone wants to know whether I pee left or right, they have to at least work for it

I had to. As internet based retail. I saw a triple growth in sales the first 3 months I was on FB in 5.7 groups.

Yep, places like FB have killed forums. One of the clowns on the FN forum talked about how dead it is here. Well if you look at just their 5.7 related posts we still have more posts and traffic. It what it is.

Yeah fuck book show bans and buries gun groups. Even if you know the exact name often they don't come up when you search for them. I got a perma ban and had to re join a bunch of groups. Even searching with the exact name they did not come up. I had to ask Matt to invite me to those groups.

FB is actively banning gun groups etc.; people are relabeling their gun groups different names, etc.

Instagram is owned by them, so they do the same. Even searching large mfg of firearms often come up empty or the suggested account box will remain empty, etc.

privately-owned forums still have their place as long as large social media corps act like they do.

So many fb groups are trying to skirt the rules.
