I would have to test it out. I absolutely endorse and like the fact that it has 100lm and 1200lm modes. That means I don't have to switch it out on my carbine with a close-80yd light and then back again, when I need a spot beam that can FULLY light up 100yds-200 yds. Key word is fully.
Many lights can hit that distance of 100yds, but when you actually have to take targets with even a very good optic (U.S. Optics, Swav, Leup, Triji, Aimpoint), it's a no go because of the lack of intensity at distance. And because of the gasses.
My only concern is how it will hold up to recoil, and there is only one way to test that.

The shooter will always matter more than the gear ever will.
Stop relying on others to do the work for you.
Shoot more, worry less.
