Is it still a flashlight?
Just curious if I can still call it a flashlight even if all the kids on the playground can't see it when I turn it on?[img2=][/img2]

Re: Is it still a flashlight?
Online dictionary states a definition of a flashlight is: a battery-operated portable light.
It doesn't specify a required wavelength or that everyone must be able to see that light so... Could be.
If you can just use glasses to see the 'illuminated" region like they do on TV, sure.
However, if you have to use another powered device to see, then I would say no.

Contrary to popular belief, you CAN fix stupid - it's just illegal.

Well this one does and doesn't fit the category. I meant to put a pic up this weekend but did not get around to it. This light is a Streamlight TLR/VIR and is currently mounted to a 10.5 inch 300BO.[img2=][/img2]
