So today I got an email from a friend of mine.
Here is their email minus their name of coarse
I went to Walmart in town yesterday and they had 500rd bricks of Remington .22lr.
I wanted my Walmart ration of 3, they price checked around $36.
When I was rung up it said sale restricted.
We got a manager.
Brad at Walmart in town went and called his "people in Arkansas" he came back and told me that the ATF contact for Walmart was restricting the sale of ammo and the value pack had to be broken up into 50rd packs."
So who else has had this same type of experience at any retail shops?

That's just as bad as Walmart saying they have no ammo, even though its locked up right behind the counters.

When my local store gets ammo in stock, it is usually not very much and sells quickly. However, it is usually priced at per-hysteria prices ($21 for 50 Federal 45 ACP, $10.50 for Tula 9mm, and $25 for 20 Fusion .308) and no box size limitation. I have seen 200 or 250 rd packs of 45 ACP, but I have not seen or heard of much 22LR though.
