New FNH USA Inc PS90/P90 USG Red Dot Sight $315 with review!
These just came in from FN. Only have two on the website as of this posting.
PS90/P90 USG Red Dot Sight Description
Electronic red dot sight module designed to fit both the PS90 USG and the P90 USG
- 3.5 MOA
- Aluminum alloy body and mount
- Adjustable for windage and elevation
Price is $315 plus shipping, but remember we have the free shipping on FN products if your order is over $500, so add a few 50 round mags to your order to get to the necessary threshold.
I'll try to do a review of this over the weekend assuming I receive the one we ordered for us by tomorrow.

Re: New FNH USA Inc PS90/P90 USG Red Dot Sight $315
WANT.
Charles, if you could cover the following points in your review, it'd be awesome
1. Who FN contracts to make these, or if they make it in house.
2. The location of the windage and elevation adj., and if they have positive *clicking* when adjusted.
3. The location of the battery and if you have to remove the sight to access it.
4. The blue/green-ness of the optic glass. If you could take a picture of the sight on, that would be awesome
5. Can the sight be manually adjusted for intensity, or does it use a sensor to detect ambient light and adjust for it, or is there a switch for manual-on AND auto-dimming.
6. How bright is the dot against a mounted light, does it wash out?
7. Does it use the same mount/screw location as the Burris FFII?
Thanks a bunch, Charles. I know you're insanely busy. I'm very interested in question #5.

Re: New FNH USA Inc PS90/P90 USG Red Dot Sight $315
Review of FNH USA PS90 Red dot sight.
As most know, we finally started carrying the entire product line of FNH USA this year. As part of the 2011 line, FNH came out with a new optic for the USG version of the PS90. Similar to an EO-Tech, the PS90 red dot is a reflex sighting system designed specifically to work with your factory PS90/P90 USG with no required rail or modification. The whole unit basically replaces your existing white ghost site or black SS sight.
The first major thing to note, is that these are manufactured by C-more, just as the SLP reflex sights are for the FNH Shotgun line.
Next, physically this thing actually looks like it’s pretty tough. It has an aluminum base and has been cut to allow the reflex site to sit into the base. Two mounting screws come in from the top of the sight and seat it to the base. The mount itself is hollow so you would still be able to look through this as a poor mans iron site if your battery failed or you cracked the lens.
In the box, you get the reflex sight, a cover for the sight, instruction manual, adjustment tool (allen wrench), adjustment dial, and two mounting screws. The warranty is good for one year but does not cover the glass of the lens.
The on off switch which also serves as the intensity selector is located directly behind the lens itself. With gloves you are going to have a very hard time switching this on and off. There are two positions on the selector. AT is an automatic position, which will turn the dot on and the intensity will be controlled automatically based off of local conditions. The other position is the M position which is the manual setting. This setting will manually set the intensity to full bright and will not be adjusted automatically. Sitting in my office with fluorescent lights on, I noticed a big difference between the two settings. One thing to note, putting the cover on over the sight does not cause it to turn off. Something to be aware of as you think about your battery consumption.
For adjustment, you have elevation and windage screws, but you also have a locking screw which I really like. This allows you to fix your sight in place once you have adjusted it. The tools provided are basically an Allen wrench and a dial. The dial serves three purposes. It functions to loosen and tighten the lock screw, it can adjust the windage and elevation screw, and it can also be used to pry open the battery compartment.
The battery is a CR 2032 which is a standard 3V battery. The one this comes with is a lithium so it should last a decent amount of time.
For zeroing, the sight has a rectangular sized adjustment area of 120 in. wide x 180 in. tall at 100 yards.
This weekend I’ll get some pics of this on one of our PS90s and get them mounted on the web for you all to see.
In summary, I think FN has released a nice product here. It’s well made, it has a clear lens with a clear red dot, the instructions are straight forward and adjustments for sighting in are straight forward. For those who don’t want to spend $100 on an aluminum mounting rail, and then another $350-1500 on a mini-ACOG or Eotech, but want a red dot, this is the answer. The only complaint I have is that the on off switch is extremely small and can be difficult to move. Those of you with big fingers and short nails will probably have some difficulty with this.

Re: New FNH USA Inc PS90/P90 USG Red Dot Sight $315 with rev
It's almost 1AM so these pics aren't the greatest. I'm impressed with the sight, it's exactly what I wanted. I haven't tried yet, but I believe if I was wearing gloves I could activate the sight easily, the control is very stiff and requires a lot of pressure and I'm already in the habit of engaging with my thumbnail, left hand, palm forward - so I think it will work with gloves. With all the lights on in my den the sight is VERY bright, indiscernible at both AT and M settings. Installation was a breeze, I can easily change the battery and adjust windage/elevation with mount and sight on the weapon. I have no gripes yet, we'll see how she helps the weapon at the range.

SWEET. Thanks for the great, short review.
I won't hate on the really, really, out of focus last two pictures.
I really won't.
Ok but seriously, sir. I am jealous. I want one to put on my imaginary carbine.

Re: New FNH USA Inc PS90/P90 USG Red Dot Sight $315 with rev
wonder what can safely remove the white logo from it without removing the finish. I really hate white silkscreening on gun parts...
Re: New FNH USA Inc PS90/P90 USG Red Dot Sight $315 with rev
Black marker. (IF you can't just wipe it off with acetone or toulene.)
Might take off the finish on the optic however. (And those are absolutely hard on plastic parts such as switches, so don't get it too wet.)
A fine Sharpie in a dark color work really good if you just "color" in the white parts. It tones it down, and yet looks nice up close. (Optics logo's are easy to darken up, and make them less eye catching while you can still read them if you are up close to the weapon/optic.)

Re: New FNH USA Inc PS90/P90 USG Red Dot Sight $315 with rev
I have seen a few FastFireII's mounted up, and this is a nice setup for the price. (Seems very similar.)
I sure sure I wanted to keep my Black Ring sight, and add the REM3b, but not so sure now.
Upside of the Ring, is that it's dang sturdy and simple. If the REM3b fails, it still works.
Then again, the back up "irons" on the PS90 USB work either way. (But can be blocked by the wire from the REM3b depending on what side you mount the controls.)
I'm kicking around the SPARC at the moment, and a Strikefire I have on another weapon. Both are excellent red dots, and I have a FFII as well, so dang, too many options! LOL

Kind of a newb as it pertains to sights. I don't have a P90 but an AR57. Will this sight work on that?
