I guess the new version of phpbb hates us. :laugh:

Might be because our theme is for an older version of phpbb, I will check to see if there is a newer version. Sorry about the problems.

Doesn't look like there is, might have to look for a new theme
Suggestions? Search for some phpBB 3.0.6 themes, if you suggest a theme that we end up using, I will sponsor someone and upgrade them to a gold membership or extend their gold membership.

Be sure that they are for version 3.0.6, as there were some major feature additions in 3.0.6.

As for styles, it might be nice to have a lighter background with dark type. Easier to read, I say. But then, other than black rifles, I don't like black that much. :laugh:
Also, a couple of choices were very narrow, necessitating multiple lines per entry. A wider format (such as we have now) allows more topics/posts per page view, making it more efficient at each glance.
All in all, I didn't think the format was broken. Do we need to fix it?

Can easily change the width of the forum, we had to do it with the current style we use.
The current style isn't entirely compatible with the upgraded forum software.

You can check out the styles we're currently looking at by going into the UCP and going into Board Preferences and then change the board style.
Once we pick one we will set it to the default and disable the ability to choose.

Try using one of the new styles and see if you continue to get the error.

I would vote for 'as is' (Darkaholic) or CA Black - if I had a vote :p

Weird. Some threads now have cloaking devices.
I just browsed for 'appropriate humor' in "active Topics" and couldn't find it.
I searched it and it didn't show up.
I browsed the 'lounge' and there it was.
I posted in it and it shows up in 'new posts' but not in 'active topics'.
Edit: Other threads are also not making the cross-over ......like this one>
viewtopic.php?f=16&t=6433" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and this one:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6281&start=20" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Okay so I don't want a lighter background after all. Aero black: not so much. I like the shading on Black Pearl. As long as it tends toward a gray and not a solid black, I'm fine. The gray IS easier on the eyes.
Do we have now, or will we have on the new one, the capacity to change the color or brightness of the actual text on my own screen? Kind of a personal preferences thing?

Got a problem, I can't stay signed in. I sign in & check the box for auto sign on but as soon as I open a thread in a new tab, it signs me off again. It usually lets me stay signed in if I only have the one page open but not always. I 've been having to sign in several times every time I open the forum :wall: :wall: :wall:
This started happening yesterday morning (to me anyway). Thought it might be my signal or network connection but I have changed areas & several wireless hubs (office, nearby hotel, even neighbor) and it happens all the fraking time. What gives?
EDIT: Yea! You fixed it! (seems that way for now) thanks

It's happened once or twice and I got booted from chat.

cgi-bin/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6429&p=149506#p149506" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; which was a 404. I don't usually see the "cgi-bin" so that could be part of it?
