Another paid membership question

I've done some sifting through the forum and still can't quite get an understandable answer so here goes. What exactly does a paid membership get me? I know the avatar and the signature line and all that, but I'm just not sure what exactly I get out of it. After trying to read everything on all 17 pages of the "membership upgrades" topic I can see that everyone who has a gold membership sure does love it....and I definitely don't feel that $25 is too much to ask because this is a very helpful website. That being said, I just wanted to try and figure out what I would be getting access to that I don't already get before going and setting up a paypal account. Thanks!

There is another small part of the forum you would get access to, it's just general discussion. Mostly it would help the forum pay it's bills.

Right on. Well when I get a chance to set up a paypal account (never used paypal) I will go ahead and do it. There is a lot of good information on here.

Nothing anymore, this was from years ago back when forums where booming and server bandwidth was not cheap. It was a way for folks to help support the forum since as now back then was kept AD FREE. look at the date of the post 2013

There is nothing left of this; it was from a time when forums were thriving and server bandwidth was expensive. The forum was kept ad-free back then, thus it was a method for people to support it. Observe the posting date.
