For once, my buddy who does smithing was waiting on me. Had to get stock and had to find time in schedule to get him my scope and rings. But it is finally done. Be a nice little varmint gun, or if I ever get into BR shooting a bit, this should shoot with most hunting class guns. Weighs almost exactly 11.5 lbs so would be perfect weight for that.
Rem700 SA bored and trued (only thing somewhat factory on gun.)
PTG custom bolt trued to action and barrel
19" 6mm Krieger Varmint BR Contour 1-14" twist custom barrel (was an old 6PPC barrel that my buddy rechambered)
Bedded on a McMillan custom A3 stock in Urban Camo
Jewell HVRTSBR-A Trigger
Vortex Viper HS 4-16x44mm on Burris Signature Z Rings and Bases
My buddy shot one 5 round group, with 60 gr Sierra Varmint loads, grouped .285" at 103 yards. (He's a BR guy so he is very precise on everything, hence the 103 ). He said he just shot some loads he had laying around, and that if I upgrade to some 68gr Bergers, it should shoot even tighter. I will have to find time to get out with it to see what I can do.
Here are a few quick pics, as promised:

Sweet! 103 yards... Your friend sounds like the guy who taught me to reload! Good luck with it; beautiful rifle.
Karma. Serving up justice one a**hole at a time.
