Can't wait to shoot my .338 RUM A-bolt this weekend. This is the small 3 port painkiller muzzlebrake from APS:

Kirby makes some fine things. I have shot a few with various versions of the Painkiller, even one of his 338 Allen Mags (that is an improved 408 case, necked down to 338). Expensive, but definitely works.
I am building a rifle off his Raptor Action, which is probably the top LR hunting action available in the world. I am sure you won't be very disappointed by the results. It will be loud, and the recoil will be significantly less. And as long as it was put on right, it will work.

it's on my weekend to do list. Maybe I can actually get a good grouping to see how the EA 338 compares to Federal/Remingtonpanzermk2 wrote:Post a vid! I would love to know how well they work.

Never shot EA's loads, but if they are like their other calibers, there will be no comparison. The stock ammo for the RUM is terrible. If you are grouping in the MOA range past 200 with it, you have a fine shooting firearm.

LOL when I shot this gun the first time at 100 yards, my grouping was pie plate size So anything will be an improvement

Its a browning, so slightly worse then MOA is pretty common with excellent factory, good handloads. Some are better. Some aren't. They are solid hunting guns, but not great LR or precision weapons. If you get under 1.25 MOA, I wouldn't be too unhappy. There are brownings I have shot that were .5 MOA guns though. All depends on which one you get.
