New Member and FN price ???

Post by DrRadar » 07 Jul 2009, 06:50

I am a new member here.
I just picked up a basic FNP-40 with stainless slide for $468 total. ($430 +tax)
I think I got a decent deal.
I like the FNP-40 than either of the XDs.
It is almost as nice to shoot as the Sig 229. :guns:

I'm wondering about the Five Seven.
I can buy a new one for $837 total ($775 +tax).
What kind of deal is this?
Should I get it?
I've never shot one and have only held the one at the dealer.
What about longevity of the 5.7?

Thanks,
DrRadar

that's cheap. At the time I bought mine, I paid $11XX out the door after taxes for it, and that was $150-200 less than most retail places.

That's a great price, I'd definitely pick that one up if I had the cash

If it is in fact new & even if you decide you don't want it - at that price, you can resell it & make a small profit.

Thanks all,
I going to get it today.
I called and he said he still had it.
The price tag was $949 and he said I could have it for $775 +tax. That was yesterday.
When I called today he said it was $800 + tax so the price went up $25 overnight. (872otd vs 837otd)
I'm leaving in a few minutes because he closes at 6:00.
It is new. never sold. I hope it's not a mistake. Almost as much as my Kimber.

I had my eye on the FNP-45 for $470. He has it with a tag price of $589. Looks like I won't be getting any more new ones until the fall.
Is $20.99 a box for the ammo ok in price. I'm planning on getting 4 boxes with the 5.7.

I wouldn't pay that much for new blue box 195. If its 197 its not a bad deal.

Picked up the FiveSeveN yesterday with 4 boxes of SS192 ammo.
It cost 948.30 out the door.
Someone mentioned the 195 and 197 here.
A guy that was there had a PS90 and said he had several FTF with 195 and said to get the 192 because the 192 is leaded primer and 195 is leadfree.
I hope I got the right ammo.
I'm hoping to shoot it this weekend.
I've already had someone offer me $200 profit. I wouldn't do it because of the straw purchase crap.
I probably wouldn't have done it anyway. I want to see what all the fuss is about.
I'm tingly waiting to shoot it, Kinda like Keith Oberman acts when he sees or talks about Obama.

are these the newer USG FNP-45s with shooters packs? That is a Hell of a deal if that's the price on one. Mom and Pop store selling them for that price?
