That owns a scar that would be willing to allow me to shoot a few rounds through? I am thinking of purchasing the rifle, but would like to know the feel of how it shoots. A friend and I are planning to pick up AR's for ourselves but have been going back and forth between AR15's and the Scar.
If anyone has the time, that would be great!

Re: Anyone in WA?
I'm in Seattle and actually picking mine up on Wednesday. I usually hit up Wade's in Bellevue on Friday nights around 8. You're more than welcome to come shoot a couple of rounds.
Re: Anyone in WA?
Sorry for the such long delay. Been busy, and the post slipped my mind. A friend of mine are looking into AR's and are really trying to figure out if we are going piston or gas-impingment. We really like the scar and what it has to offer.
What do you guys have to throw into the decisions of what we are trying to pick up.
PWS makes a pretty cool piston setup based on the AK47. The Piston is a whole piece rather then being something that "slams" the bolt back. (Often causing bolt tilt). But it seems their barrels are 1/9 and not 1/7. We are also looking into the 6.8 round. ack, a lot of choice.

Re: Anyone in WA?
I've got a custom AR upper with the PWS system and love it, there may still be a couple shops building uppers with them so you wouldn't be limited to something direct from PWS. It does add some ounces to the system.
The SCARs operating mechanism is really impressive and rock solid but I don't like its ergonomics much which is why I sold mine, if I could get one with a 12" barrel that would change though.
What part of WA you in?
