I finally got around to looking at the September issue of American Rifleman. On page 24 they have a nice little article on ATK Commercial Products having exclusive distribution of 5.7x28mm SS197SR for the US market. The VP of ATK said " This unique cartridge is now showing promise in the US Commercial sport shooting market. With our sales and distribution leadership in the ammunition category that includes Federal, CCI and Speer brands, we have the advantage of getting this round out on shelves..."
I hope they follow through and that wider distribution will help bring the cost down.
