No it ruins the coating.

Best bet is 1 part simple green to 3 parts warm water in a bucket. Hand agitate every 5 minutes for no more then 20 minutes.

Rinse thoroughly with cool water and let air dry.

If you are loading for the FiveSeveN, you can load a few and see if they work for you. I have had pretty good luck even with missing coating in the handgun. Others say it will not work, but I have 10 that I have been testing with no coating that are on their 3rd round of reloading. Your experiences may vary. I do not see any additional neck movement or stretching of the brass with 5.7 gr of true blue behind a 40 gr projectile.

The coating provides lubricity for extraction. Try single shot loads to determine whether they will extract and eject properly. FNH didn't coat the cartridge for cosmetic reasons. Good luck!
