American Eagle factory loaded primers?

Hey everybody...wondering if I can re-use factory AE virgin primers for my preferred load out using True Blue and I am unable to confirm if small pistol primers are used or small rifle primers are used at manufacture? I put in a call to Federal today and the gentleman that returned my call could not confirm one way or the other as they do not manufacture the ammo. Anyone whom knows and can share....it would be greatly appreciated!

so I can use SPP for my 5.7 loads? Is there a "don't use them above" load? Or are they in theory good for all loads? I'm running low on SRP

Great question! I have approximately 6 times the amount of SPP’s that I do SRP’s so it’d be great to know if I could use those without a performance hit on my plinking loads.

SPP primers work great for plinker loads. If you are loading 40gr V-max type bullet to 11,000 to 14,000 fps you will be fine with SPP. You want to keep SPP loads sub 40kpsi chamber pressure.

Can SPP’s be used for 55g subsonic loads or would the effective range for light plinking be a low to moderate load under a 40 grainer? I am not overly sure what subsonic pressures are.
