Seems like it's more common than SS197 lately.

Not here, still just 197 & AE in the stores. If 195 is back & that cheap, I may get some. I want to pull some down & upgrade the rounds.

Contrary to popular belief, you CAN fix stupid - it's just illegal.

197 and AE here, too. 30 and 27 bones a box...glad I've got a bunch of 1x brass, won't be shooting any factory stuff at those prices.

From what I've seen, 5.7 ammo prices are down all over the place.

Yes I tried to buy them at $24.00 bucks a box but they only let you buy one box each time you shoot at the range. I pull them all down anyway, but the terminal ballistics are much better than most anything out there. I do have a brass bullet hollow point that I load that is 1/8" shorter that performs better but other than that you can't beat the ss195, ss198 rounds and the devastation they cause.

I buy some ammo from a place called ammosupplywarehouse.com. They are mostly an online seller, but they are out of a small town not far from Las Vegas, so I go pick it up. They move an incredible volume. They almost always have 5.7 ammo at a fair, but not cheap price. Recently they have SS195 in stock. Kind of surprised me to see it. Over the past year they have had 198, 197 and AE, but this is the first time I have seen 195. $26 a box, or $250 for 10 boxes.

Simpson's Hardware in Sumter, SC has the 5.7x28 AE ammo for $15.96 a box. It's so hard for me to not buy 100 rounds every time I walk in there. My buddy bought 500rnds the last time he was in there. He paid $172 out the door for 10 boxes.

When ammo is plentiful, the powder is always depleted lol. I need powder more than ammo right now!!!

Way to rub it in Jay lol haha
I still have a pound of true blue, 2 pounds of longshot and 4 pounds of blue dot which I don't use. I think the true blue and longshot will get me through at least 4,000 rounds. I only have about 1,000 1x fired casings. So I just need to deplete my 3,500 rounds of 5.7x28mm and get to it.

I also have 450 pulled ss198 bullets I am thinking of selling if anyone is interested :D
