Newbie with AR Five Seven upper

Post by Firervfd37 » 25 May 2016, 13:41

Newbie here to the 5.7x28. I just aquired a AR Five Seven upper and upon looking at it, it shows patent pending on the side. Is this common, or did I ripped? Also came with magpul flip sights and 1 50 round magazine. Thanks. I'll try to post a pic soon

OK, good. When should we expect a range report? Firing it is the only real test.

Thanks for the response Capt. Killer. I have night quals next week and should be able to fire off a few rounds and get back to ya. Any input ok why patent pending would be stamped on the side? Thanks

I wouldn't stress about the patent pending. Alot of companies do that so they can put out the product while waiting on the patent. My gen 2 upper has that. Works fine. Hard to say whether you got ripped off without knowing how much you paid for it, and if it was brand new or not.

It's supposed to say that.
