T/C Contender

Hello I would like to ask if anyone has a 5.7 in a single shot like the contender? I'm interested in having a rifle barrel built for short range squirrel shooting and would like to hear feedback. Mainly does the 5.7 gain much out of a 20" barrel and is it close to the .22 Hornet in performance?

Not that I have ever heard of. Someone may make a .17 tho - or a .22 mag?

I have an 18" contender barrel chambered in 5.7x28, the 5.7x28 can basically duplicate 22 hornet loads if handloaded....case volume is very close. DO NOT use said handloads in an AR57 as it is blowback operated and will fire with the bolt out of battery!!
