Hello there.
I just purchased a new Keltec SUB2000 in 5.7x28mm. While I haven't fired it yet, I am very impressed with it. The weapon's empty weight is only 4.38 pounds and like all SUB2000's, it can be folded in half. This is a Gen 3 Sub2000 so when it folds, you can twist it by 90 degrees so that your optics won't get in the way of the fold. Speaking of optics, I put a red dot reflex sight on a short riser. That works out well with a comfortable cheek weld. This weapon uses the Keltec magazines along with the FN 5.7's magazines. So you can use the provided 20 round magazine as well as the 30 round double row magazine and the 50 round drum magazine for some extra long fun sessions. When locking and unlocking the barrel section for folding, you pull the trigger guard forward notably.
Combining the folding configuration, the light weight and the low recoil of the 5.7x28mm round, this promises to be a very fun gun to shoot. It also fits very nicely in a backpack for easy carrying. From what I gather, it should be able to fire the 5.7x28mm round through its 16" barrel at velocities in excess of 2400 fps. It would even be viable for home defense with its handy size, low recoil and reasonable power.

Interesting.
Knowing Keltec's complete lack of quality we will see how this works.
