Those of us who have tested the 5.7x28mm rounds against ballistic gelatin, clay, body armor panels and other barriers are completely familiar with the lethality of the round. Even the lowly SS197 "sporting round" will ruin a bad guy's day.

I choose to carry 21 rounds of S4M in my FsN because it creates an absolutely devastating would cavity. From the results I've seen, if the BG is wearing IIIa body armor, the bullet shreds and makes even more wound channels.

It's a good thing terrorist Nadal wasn't a better shot because it could have been a much worse body count.

Let the internet complain about this "souped up 22 round", that just leaves more ammo for me!

The critics "But 9mm, or other common service calibers, of lesser cost would have performed the same or better. This firearm offers no better ballistics when tested, etc etc".

Mind you these tests always occur with FMJ ammo..

not defend the caliber.

Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity.
The shooter will always matter more than the gear ever will.
Stop relying on others to do the work for you.
Shoot more, worry less.
