Re: how about lets have a show & tell day

I've seen threads like this on Sniper's Hide. All I can say is that this nation's civilians are ARMED and if a civil war ever broke out it would be frikkin' bloody. I myself have seven rifles, including 3 semi autos, two lever guns and two bolt action rifles. And there's my two 9 mm semi- auto pisto...

PS90 Storage in Butt (cleaning kit?)

I see my PS90 has a small storage compartment in the butt. So far I've only stored the Allen wrench for my Bushnell TRS-25 red dot sight in there but I think I'll put a cleaning kit in too. Who has done this and what did your use? Obviously a tiny plastic dropper bottle of barrel cleaning fluid, bar...

Re: Sight for my PS90 (arrived today)

So the REM 3 has a "ring" reticle? That's fine with me because my Steyr AUG has a built in Swarovski 1.5 X sight with a ring reticle with which I'm very familiar. Just one more reason to get the REM and try it. I mounted the TRS-25 red dot sight today and its height is perfect as-is. (I did not get ...

FN 2000 and Steyr AUG

I have owned a Steyr AUG bullpup for 18 years and still think it is the most innovative assault-style semi auto made. BUT the FN 2000 is, IMHO, the equal of the AUG in many ways, ergonomically and quality wise. All they need is a flip-down forearm handgrip to make it better. Thank GOD the FN 2000 ch...

Re: Sight for my PS90

Cyberfly,

At $89. I think I'll get that REM3 sight and decide which of the two goes on my Benelli M1 shotgun and which on the PS90.

Re: Finally got a PS90

Ditch,

All 5 of my new mags are FN mags. Actually $28. each (at Urban Civil Defense in Henderson just off Gibson by the RR tracks). Same place I got the PS90.

But, alas, no ammo at all and none for at least several weeks.

Red Dots, Bushnell v.s. Vortex

The Bushnell TRS 32 and the Vortex StrikeFire red dot scopes seem about equal in features and price. Nice scopes for the PS90. Bushnell has risen greatly in quality in the past 5 years. I have and outstanding Bushnell ERS 3.5 -21 X50 tactical scope with Zero Lock that I'd put up against any Vortex s...

Re: New PS90 owner re. SBR CONVERSION

OK, I didn't know that fine point of the BATF regs. <profanity> regs., they have the same force as legislated law B/C they are promulgated under the enabling law. So we (my wife & I) do have a family trust. Does that mean if the trust name is engraved on the barrel then my two attorney daughters can...

Re: Sight for my PS90

Blue, I'd get a Burris FastFire III BUT on careful examination it has the same weakness that my el cheapo TruGlo similar sight has. Namely dirt, snow, or water can fill up the area between the projector lens and the viewing lens, rendering the sight ineffective. Don't ask me how I know but there are...

Just got a Bushnell ERS 3.5 - 21 X 50mm tactical scope. >Front Focal Plane >Horus H59 tactical mil reticle >1/10 mil turret adjustments >Zero Lock (zero stop) >34 mm main tube >Rainguard on exterior lenses (virtually no exterior fogging) >very good glass (Not ED glass but close) It goes on an HS Pre...

Re: Sight for my PS90

I didn't realize the dot size was adjustable on the Bushnell TRS-25 red dot. Thanks

My God the Aimpoint Micro is 'SPENSIVE! I can buy 6 or 7 TRS-25s for that price. What is so damn great that they are worth that much. They are really "proud" of that sight.

Re: New PS90 owner re. SBR CONVERSION

Kredal, what's this thing about engraving the upper reciever?

Why would I want it engraved? What do I have engraved on it, my name? Favorite Founding Fathers quote?

Re: ar fiveseven rifle jamming

WHEW!

I just bought my PS90 last week and then 4 more mags. Luckily I chose to buy the FNH mags and not the AR57 mags lying on the shelf next to them.

Sight for my PS90

Just ordered a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot sight for my PS90.

1. It's CHEAP at $79.99 on sale.
2. It has good reviews for ruggedness and holding zero.
3. The TRS mounts lower than an EOTEC sight (my 1st choice, natch)

So, whaddya think? OK for a first optic?

Re: Finally got a PS90 - ME TOO!

Got mine three days ago for $1,300. here in 'Vegas. and three mags for $28. each.
Now I'm going to submit a Form 1 and pray for a 6 month turnaround.

The guy is very reasonable. I bought my new Ruger LC-9 there with a LaserMax for $400.

New PS90 owner re. SBR CONVERSION

Enlighten me on the amount of time and other BS I need to do to get a Form 1 clearance.

I'd like TORS to convert my long barrel to an SBR. I think I need to remove the barrel before I send it to TORS (with a BATF approved form) if I want to keep my cost to $188 + shippiong. Nes pas?

Re: Loading the PS90 Magazine

Fookin' THANK YOU! Just got my PS90 and four 50 rnd. mags. Waiting for Federal ammo to come in. So now I'm using the time to familarize myself with the weapon. Next is an SBR & Form 1 and later a better sight than my True-Glo red/green dot sight. (Does FNH REALLY expect that iron sight to be useble??)

My Steyr AUG

I have the "original" Steyer AUG imported by Interarms. I got it in the early '90s for $650. with 5 magazines. I now have ten 30 round mags and one 43 round mag, a blank firing adaptor and a bayonet lug. As soon as Hillary announces her presidential candidacy the firearms prices will skyrocket again...
