Re: The Vest Guy has PS90 mag pouches

Got my The Vest Guy pouches and the quality is EXCELLENT! Well worth the high price.

BTW, I used a hot spike held in Vise Grips and melted a small drainage hole in the bottom of each pouch. Lets dust out too.

Re: Securing the grip on my PS90

Hey, mask it off with tape and paint on truck bed liner paint. Automatic stippling guaranteed! Many custom rifle stocks use this method and it is very durable.

Drilled open my "peep" sight

The newer model PS 90 has a rail with a peep sight beneath. The objective peep hole is way too small for fast target acquisition so I opened it up to 3/16" and painted the bare metal black and the front post white. Now it really works. Very little accuracy should be lost as the human eye automatical...

The Vest Guy has PS90 mag pouches

I ordered two double mag pouches from The Vest Guy. They are made to order in the USA. Mine are Crye Multicam with QR buckles and MOLLE attachment points on the back.

$59. each double mag pouch the way I configured it. Just a bit spend but good quality.

Re: **Buffman (& Greenberg's) Official FsN Body Armor Barrag

I wonder if the added velocity of a PS90 carbine (non-SBR) would make much difference in IIIA penetration.

Re: FS2000 parts (hmmmmm...)

I have a Steyr AUG. Bought it 18 years ago and NEVER had a part failure in several hundreds of rounds.

Steyr quality is second to none.

Re: Dont lose a gun fight in the first 3 seconds…

If there are multiple felons with guns 3 shots to one of them will get YOU killed by the other felon. Double tap the most threatening, double tap the next one and return your pistol to cover the first while seeking cover (or at least concealment). This is how I was taught by professionals at Front S...

5.7X28 ammo costs

Recently (Dec. 2013) I've been paying as much as $35.00 per box of Federal "AmericanEagle" 40 gr. ammo. My dealer wants 45./box of FNH ammo.

Is this in line with what others are charging?

Re: replacment hammer for ps90

I have a Steyr AUG with a "plastic" hammer (engineering grade polymer) and it will last more than two times as long as the metal hammer in a gov't. isued M4 or M16 by test. That's why it's not metal.

I'd use nothing but a stock FN hammer for my PS90.

Now I'm paying $35.00 a box for Federal Ammo B/C they want $40./ box for FNH rounds.

Will this ammo hoarding frenzy NEVER end??

Yep! The fast breakdown is very cool, very similar to my Steyr AUG.

As it happens I just demonstrated the PS90's field stripping for a friend tonight. Being a mechanical engineer he was interested in its ambidexterious design as well.

Why I love the PS90 or "Tacti-cool personified"

Why I love the PS90: 1. Frikkin' badassery when carried on a range 2. StarGate rangers use 'em 3. That cool magazine location 4. Frikkin badassery... :thumb: 5. Ammo is so easy to find ;o) :( 6. SBR forms are so cheap and process so fast :lmao: 7. They look like something from an AirSoft wet dream 8...

Re: Optics issue

I put a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot sight on my PS90 and it works very well for the 25 to 100 yd. distances for which I feel the carbine is best. And for $89. I can't argue with the value. My TRS-25 is just the correct height with its standard height mount. Plus it seems rugged enough as well, seeing as...

Re: PS90 Owners I Need Your HELP! (JB WELD epoxy)

How about renewing the forward edge of the reciever lock hole with JB WELD epoxy?

That stuff is actually more wear resistant than the the PS 90 polymer stock.

Re: FN P90 lower receiver laser/led identification

Could be a phony laser made for Simunition guns. Those guys go for looks over function.

OTOH it IS a neat location for a laser. But with my Bushnell TRS red dot sight on my PS90 I don't need a laser. The only laser I have is on my Ruger LC9.

Fantastic vids. Thanks.
I'm amazed at the power of those little .22 cal. 40 gr. pills! They must tumble upon impact.

I think I'll buy some clay and see what the wound channel looks like.

OOOOEEEE! shootin' fun!

The other day I took my PS90 out for the first time. I went thru 100 rounds with two magazines SO fast. It's like shooting my Ruger 10/22 with 50 round bananna clips. (Only more 'spensive.) Anyway, I got my Bushnell TRS-25 red dot sight zeroed and found that the PS90 is pretty accurate with FN 40 gr...

Re: Finally got a PS90

COLLECTING... I'm going to collect all the 40 gr. or heavier ammo that I can over the coming year. I'll save the brass and begin reloading. That case is so small that I'll have to be VERY carefull with powder measuring. (Even 1/2 grain over max load can be quite dangerous.) Now to "collect the bulle...
