Re: 72 hours to go...

Fly is right: it's their store. Sorry about the confusion--I had forgot that FL still has the waiting period (not to mention prohibited open carry, even with CCW). We don't have either of these in GA--sometimes I forget to count my blessings. BTW--heard they're starting a campaign to legalize open c...

Yes, NRA member, as well as a member of the Second Amendment Foundation. These are the guys who really use the courts (they started the Heller and MacDonald cases). Also, I'm a member of Georgiacarry.org. My 11 year old son is an NRA member and a Georgiacarry.org member as well. Cyberfly is right ab...

Welcome. By the way, what state are you in that still has a waiting period (archaic)? Not trying to get into a political discussion, just wondering...

Re: NRA Shoots For The Moon In Wisconsin

Yes, the NRA has been involved in this, as have been several other organizations. Chief among them is probably wisconsinccw.org, which is spearheaded by Tim Schmidt of USCCA fame: http://wisconsinccw.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It appears that with Doyle leaving as governor (...

Re: Gov. Christie finally addresses Brian Aitken case

Well...he did the right thing. Some would argue the obvious thing, but I give him credit since he's from a deep blue state. In doing so, it would appear he gained some major credibility with the pro-2nd amendment crowd (i.e., us). That said, the ridiculous laws still remain. Let's see if this serves...

Re: Boneheads - Atlanta area

Here are a few that I'm aware of that are gun FsN friendly (I can vouch for these as of the last time I shot there): Georgia : Hi-Caliber (Holly Springs, GA)--my favorite; how can you go wrong with an owner who is a state representative that has a "come and take it" AR-15 sticker on his SUV? Nick's ...

Boneheads - Atlanta area

Folks--I'm not much of a complainer, but I have an interesting story. There's a local range here in the ATL that gets lots of bad reviews among the gun community. For the most part, the book on the range (and gun shop) is that the folks there are not exactly user friendly. I purchased one firearm th...
