Re: Need help 30gn Varmint Grenade
My coal was 1.554" and started at 6gr of AA#5. I tested it along side of True Blue and Longshot and found I got smaller sd and higher velocities with TB and LS. I was never really fond of AA#5 and only use it now when testing a new bullet. Using Longshot start at 5.8gr and work up.

Re: New Ruger 5.7?
I checked with my Cabela's who simply said they didn't have any yet and do not know when they will get any. Also checked my LGS and they said they were on a waiting list with the distributors they go through.

Re: Primer pockets
On AE brass the primers are not crimped in. I have seen some SS197/SS195 both with a crimp and without. Where as the ss198 primers are crimped and also have the green primer sealant on them. The primer sealant is only on the mil/police rounds.

Re: Best powder for 40-50 gr?
I have played around with CFE pistol. I lost my location to chronograph so I only have a limited amount of data. But I can say it has been working pretty good so far. When I have the time I will try and post some of the data.

Have you tried to contact AR57 center? If not, on there contact page send an email to Tammy. She is pretty good at responding to emails relatively quick. I have contacted her myself off and on in the last few months.

Re: 5.7 suppression
Some 5.56 create issues because the initial chamber/baffle is to big. The large baffle keeps the chamber pressure HI so that when the case is extracted pressure is to hi and you get jamming and mag popping As Trump says, "fake news". You need to go back to the book on silencer design and technology...

Re: 1/2x28 to 10mmx1 thread adapter
So did a little more research on the web and found an adapter for $49.99. http://www.thesilencerstore.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_41&products_id=140&zenid=Vh2D0plfTgAaYl3xEYRCg2 There is another company I found that can make them as low as $20 a piece but to get that price requires...

Re: 1/2x28 to 10mmx1 thread adapter
If that doesnt work out for you let me know. I have all the taps/dies and lathe threading tools to be able to do that. Its been a little while do to health issues since I last used my lathe, but i'm sure I could dust it off and attempt it. Also would need to know what type of material you want it ma...

Re: 300 AAC blackout 16" M4 is a dominar!
Its max effective range doesnt even break 500yrds. Never heard nor seen any data other then theoreticle that even hits 600, and nothing that could be 700plus yards. Why would you need or want a scope for distances well beyond that? Not trying to bust your bubble. If you have info and data on a round...

Re: Lee sizer die 5.7x28
Get some Mothers mag wheel polish and buff the edges and opening of the die. As to the neck issue you will need to be more specific as to how its sizing it incorrectly. For example is the neck not being reduced small enough, or to small.

Re: 5.7x28 bolt action
Nice. What do you think the interest level would be for a mag insert that would let folks be able to have a repeater Rem700 action built 5.7? Just gauging interest before I jump off a cliff with this thing. I know a million different factors come into play but just out of curiosity for me really. I...
