I've never used them but there are places selling it, I googled "frangible 223 bullets" & it showed loaded ammo & bullets for reloading.
I don't think there's any load data on the forum for them either, pretty special niche.

Which bullet did you use? Be very careful when using someone else's max load. There could be variances in the scales or in manufacturing of the powders or gun which could have severe impact on what happens. My general rule of thumb is to start .5gr below max & work up. I was using someone else's max...

It really depends on your situation/circumstances but IMO, a shotgun is best for home defense. Smaller chance of missing, using shot limits over -penetration (slugs will probably over-penetrate tho).

How do you prevent lacquer buildup in the chamber? Will normal gun cleaning - ie, Hope’s No. 9 remove the lacquer?
