How easy is it to field strip and clean? And what's the weight?

Re: Burris Fastfire III

Maybe later, but for now I'll grab one of those Burris 1-4x TAC30 scopes. My Primary Arms Micro Dot has been keeping me happy so far.

Re: PS90 with ss197 effective

I have encounters with pit bulls and regular mutts a lot. I almost got attacked by a large, white pit bull at one time and I didn't have any weapon. At the time I use to occasionally carry a pocket knife, but that day all I had were my boots. And this was one heavily muscled pit. It's arms looked bi...

Akdal MKA 1919

Anyone here have one? Would you choose it over a Saiga 12 or the FN SLP? The price of the MKA 1919 is very low compared to a converted Saiga 12 or SLP and it has a AR lrbho and magazine release. The magazines are steel too. The MKA 1919 is also lightweight.

Re: Burris Fastfire III

I would like to hear more reviews on this Burris Fastfire 3. I plan on purchasing one soon, but if the reviews aren't too good, then maybe I'll just purchase a 1-4x scope.

Re: 12.5 SBR in 223/5.56

Thanks for replies. Yes, I have at one time shot a 16" AR with a muzzle brake and it wasn't really pleasant. I could feel the blast enter my nostrils and into my brain. Felt like my eyes were rattling around after each shot. It was also noticeably louder.

12.5 SBR in 223/5.56

Anyone here have a 12.5 SBR in 223/ 5.56? Are these very loud to where you got to double up on hearing protection? Just asking because I usually shoot my guns with the small, orange foamy earplugs or sometimes I'll use my Skullcandy earbuds and they make shooting the 16 inch barreled rifles pleasant...

Re: The BEST .22 Rifle on the planet

I have a Sig 522 that has been very reliable with all kinds of 22 ammo. I cleaned it when I received it and that was 6 months back. Ever since then me and my friends just been going through the Federal 550 round packs. I've shot it in cold weather and during some sandstorms. The gun is very dirty no...

That sucks, I was looking forward to purchasing one, but I've been reading that they have lots of problems. Hopefully they fix it soon.
