Look I don't wanna be rude but....the finish is wearing on your sight-ok,so? big deal if it bugs you get some bluing paste and fix it. I don't care if the gun cost $250 or $2,500 if you USE it it WILL wear the finish off and that's normal and shouldn't be a hassle or worry even if it rubs off fast. ...

I don't quite get the fascination with a fixed 4X on a gun you're going to use at close range,I find trying to use 4X at close range blows arse to be kind, and the dot sights I have no love for since it uses a battery. Can I still stay?
Ok-long story short:since getting my P1/P38 I haven't been carrying my 5.7 at all, maybe a couple times but the P38 was just something I always wanted so it's wormed it's way into a "special" spot in my arsenal. Flash forward to today.....well I had an AR in '07 but it was too heavy (A2 20in "straigh...

From my shooting of the 5.7 I find it's more accurate if you rest it on something otherwise it strings it's shots a bit.

I'm having a real crazy idea run through my head:convert a Nagant revolver to 5.7  My main reason is it's a gas seal revolver i.e. the cylnder slides foreward to "seal" the chamber and it un-loads like a single action but is a double action. As much as I like my FN I'll admit since I got ahold of a Walter P38/P1 I've carried it more then the FN,I'm actually going for my CCW with the P1 over the FN.
The fact I always wanted one may be why I'm so attached to it

Where was I? well my PC went kerblooy RadCat,fookin' Vista.
But I'm back and looking at what you crazies have been up to.
(The PC is now running XP BTW)
Get the carbine bulit and post some durn videos, glad EA is making it's own cases but the more people make 5.7 ammo the better it's future will be.
