Re: Putting a red dot on a fixed sight
jhoser2000, I purchased my 5.7 a couple years ago with adjustable sights and yes the ss197 does shoot low and to the left compared with other ammo.If your looking for a red dot sight you should call Robert at TrueHunterSupply.com he is very helpful and his prices are reasonable just talk to him you ...

tparty, I commend you with such a brilliant idea ! Someone should have thought of the list along time ago. Babcock/Webb in Charlotte county Fl, even though it is outdoors is 5.7 friendly.

Re: red dot weight
Thanks for the input, I like the idea of back up sights and options with the EA product. Is it just me or does it look like the Burris Fastfire II would sit closer to the slide with the True Hunter Supply mount, I like how the Burris FF II sits so close like on PearlMonte"s 5.7, but then with pictur...

red dot weight
I am getting secure with the function of my 5.7 after a couple probably minor setbacks, anyhow now i am interested in a red dot sight.I understand Elite has the mount and the Burris Fastfire II is a good red dot without the big price, is this still the consensus ? My main question is about the weigh...

Re: Need recommendation for leather inside-the-waistband hol
I would go with the crossbreed , very adjustable with whatever cant you want. The crossbreed belt loops are steel and wont break like the ----- which in very cold weather could snap and if you have trouble with retention, tighten your belt. Who would want to change out your kydex on your leather bac...

Re: Viridian X5L
Hey all, did a little experiment last night. I put the viridian X5L and a insight M6 in the refrigerator along with a thermometer, 12 hours later it was 33 degrees and they both worked fine.

Re: Viridian X5L
Are the red ones as sensitive to cold also? Lucky me I have a heater in my house as it does drop into the 40's probably twice a year here.I practice with the green at the range but am a better shot with sights for accuracy, mostly rely on green for inside the house quick target acquisition after jus...

Re: Viridian X5L
PainKillaX, you bring up a very good point that I was not aware about as I do live in a warm climate, south Florida. My property buts up to a large conservation area, lots of varmits sighted fast and accurate with the viridian and also used for HD. I do practice quite abit at the range also. Iron si...

Re: Viridian X5L
Rapier1772 I am not an expert or nearly as bright as some of the gentleman on this site, I do have a viridian x5l very bright accurate and functions very well. Having had this laser tac light for well over a year i have had zero problems, works well on my G19,5.7 and xdm 45 it really takes a beating...

I shoot all my guns , no safe queens here. The only one to ever fail on me was the 57,you know maybe this site isn't that bad. You all seem like you have a great sense of humor. LMAO I do learn things about the short comings of this weapon and a possible fix here an there. Thanks for the laugh, grea...

Re: FiveSeven Problems....
allena2s2 i agree with you 100%, how can you depend on a fire arm that falls apart , jams , and wears out so quickly. How could you you possibly use it as your go to gun ? With so many complaints ? I love the five seven , the shape ,the ammo, the whole concept of this firearm is great, would i trust...

Re: FiveseveN Failure to Eject
seahawk;sounds like a very nice FiveseveN with the modifications but the 30 round mag certainly seems suspect, how does it shoot with the 20 round mags? Not to be picking on the 30 rounders but there seems to be a consensus with our fellow shooters. Anxious to hear your specific out come hope its so...
