I picked up mine for 1499.00 here at the range I belong to. The gun shops around here all have them for 1500.00 to 1600.00. Last weeks range time was cut short by some fidgety dogs at the camp site that did not like the rifles. The Wife and I are heading up to The Plantation today to test out the ne...

Looks to be a couple of them in the market app. Two seem to stand out to me; FlyCast (supports the Motorolla Droid and G1) and RadioTime. I'm trying the FlyCast Beta since it's free. If you open the market app and tap the hourglass search icon just type streaming radio or FlyCast into the search box...

I've got the XD-45 service (4") and I would buy the M just for the barrel upgrade. The XD is a great platform. I can't really describe why ...it just points/shoots well.

It rained today (NW Wash. ... go figure) so it was off to the indoor range to sight in the new $40 cheapo optic and test some new reloads. It seems the rifle likes the new combo. Lousy camera phone. This was the fourth three round set at 25 yds; one second intervals. http://lh5.ggpht.com/_J4AzZuvxOv...

My new Ruger SR-556 Only put a couple boxes through it so far but it's very accurate (dead on with the Troy sights out of the box) and a pleasure to shoot. Now I just need to wait for the dies to show up so I can afford to shoot it. :D http://lh5.ggpht.com/_J4AzZuvxOvs/S7wGpFxAkvI/AAAAAAAAA24/cUD-kZ...

Nosler CTST 50gr with HS7 or AC#7
Has anyone here done any loading with the 50gr Nosler Combined Technology Silver Tip with HS7 or Accurate 7? I see in some posts a while back Grant had some good luck with VV. Anyone try it with the powders above?

The gun ban was pure political grandstanding on Ex-Mayor Nickels part. The Washington Attorney General advised him before the ban that in his opinion the ban would be illegal as state law trumps city. I'm really not sure what he was attempting to do aside from a last couple of minutes in the limelig...

I paid about the same. That's a steal compared to the 40.00 I paid for a box of a thousand CCI small pistol primers the same day. I've been using them since my gunshop here in NW Wash. switched to them for small rifle (bout 6 months now). I've had zero issues and like the larger container. I usually use them with Accurate 7 or HS-7 with really good results.

HS-7 is one of my favorites and is tough to come by as they don't make it anymore. I started at about 6.0gr with the 40gr VMAX a 1.585 OAL, once fired brass and winchester small rifle primers and worked my way upwards. I wish I had more of the stuff.

+1 on the Lee 1000. I do all my 9mm and 45 on a 1000 and it has yet to let me down. It took a little time to learn how to adjust and feed it but it's a great deal for 150 bucks. I'm anxious to hear your thoughts on the shell plate. It would be nice to do my 5.7 on the progressive also.

I own one and it is VERY comfortable. Used to wear it with my shorts and t-shirt. The large leather backing keeps the gun completely off your side/back and it's not uncomfortable in hot weather.
