Visceral, use some saddle soap on the holster, I bet it will look brand new after words - nice find, good job.

Re: FsN-Friendly Ranges

*** Nick's Guns & Range is now GA Firing Line (change in ownership, same location) *** Johns Mountain WMA (Chestnut Mountain Shooting Range) (Floyd County / Rome, GA) - good place to shoot up to 100 yards, only costs $5 per visit or $20 per YEAR, figure it's worth mentioning as many people ask were ...

Re: Blue's CZ review

Blue & Panzer, I've got a question for you guys - being that I know from past postings you both have an extensive knowledge of the CZ-75, so I figure you guys whould be the best to ask. I've been told before that when it comes to the CZ-75, the first model/short rail verison is/tends-to-be more accu...

The worst maintenance issue that I can think of is running out of ammo.

Re: FNX-9: Buying Without Handling?

Have you tried Gallery of Guns yet? If you've never used the site before, click on the "Gun Genie" button on the left side of the page and you can see if any of your local gun stores use Davidsons as their distributor (thus, you can order what you want from straight from the distributor, which is th...

Re: Why did you get one?

This is going to be long, really long, but if I just said "because I like it" you'd just say "thanks, but that doesn't really help" or if I decided to inject some wit into my response and said "because it was destined so" you'd just laugh it off and wouldn't believe me, lol. So, come travel back in ...

Re: Boneheads - Atlanta area

For example, there's one that I frequent that's owned by a state representative. Last week I bought two pounds of TAC and, without asking for it, the sales guy gave me 10% off. The price per pound was $20.79 (before the discount). While this isn't as cheap as powdervalleyinc.com, it significant low...

Re: Holiday Road Trip

Toyslr, if you have a Texas CCW permit it's honored in Georgia (reciprocity) so no need for a long gun really, but to each his own.

Re: advice and opinions

Georgia - very gun friendly and you can own anything you want (with the proper tax stamps and all). That said though, summers here are hot and humid, but you don't have to shovel snow in the winter. The ccw laws are relaxing a lot too. Land and taxes is cheap, though it really all depends on what yo...

Re: Can I move there????

Yeah, that's one of the nice things about GA, our gun laws allow you to own anything you want too :D, though the laws here aren't like Switzerland though, the state doesn't give you a free gun . Cost of living is pretty cheap here, compaired to some other states - I was born and raised in CA,...

I'm a phlebotomist and a nursing student Rapier, and noone even wears the "white short skirt and hat" anymore, nurses of both genders wear scrubs. Plus, male nurses are more pro-gun than female nurses, :D .

Re: What are you reading now?

On average I read 4-6 books at one time, and that only lasts me a little more than a week (I only watch one hour of TV a week). Right now though, I'm only reading one at the moment - funds are short beacuse of a new semester at school :( . I'm reading 'In The Event of My Untimely Demise: 20 Things M...
