My 21M is about 9 to 10 years old and was starting to get where it was hard to see when there was not a light source. This totally fixed the problem without having to send it in and get the tritium replaced. I highly recommend it.

Re: REM 21 for the Mepro 21M sight
Just got it delivered last week.
Thank you it works great.
If I might make a suggestion, it would be nice if it had something under the round plastic piece to help it stick to the 21M's body. I think I am going to try some two sided tape to give it a little more support.

You can't keep telling everyone what they want to hear. It will catch up sooner or later.

Re: Taurus Judge .410 Revolver and Ammunition Review
Great reveiw, very professional job. Has any one tested .410 buckshot in gelatin? I think it was the Box O Truth website (or was it Brass fletchers) did a test (not with factory ammo) and determined there was not enough penetration to use it as a self defense round.

Re: Little Help / Opinoins IO AK 47
Try gunbroker or one of the other firearm action sites to see prices. I just checked one of the other forums I sometimes go to and the people there who have I.O. products seem to think that the customer service is really bad. The I.O. AK47 was getting mixed reveiws, from one person who was claiming ...

Re: 86-Year-Old Serial Shoplifter Pleads Guilty
But there was little sympathy for Orko, who police say has been arrested 61 times, including on Aug. 2, when she was caught trying to shoplift anti-wrinkle cream, packets of salmon, coffee and batteries from the Dominick's store at Fullerton and Clybourn. Wow that's quite an assortment of items. Was...

Ammo for compact .45
Just got a Para PDA .45 and was wondering what loads others would recommend / use for compact .45s. My prior experience with .45s has been mostly with full size pistols.

Welcome, I have a Spectre right now at my dealer waiting for the papperwork to clear. There are several people on this forum who have one and they seem happy with them. I suggest you go to the NFA subforum for some very good info about suppressing the 5.7.

I wonder if wal-mart will stock it then? not around here they won't. When I go shopping today I am going to go to that section to see exactly if anything my Wal-Mart sells in the way of ammo & other goodies. I have never paid any attention because well I live in Illinois :?: If it's like th...

I have one and love it.
Mark620- the rifle comes with an ejection port already on the left side. You are suppose to be able to get a left hand bolt form MSAR, so you might try seeing if it's available.

You will carry what the agency that hires you gives you, both weapon and ammo. The Security Guard licence is only good as long as you are employed by an agency and any weapons carried will be under their rules.

Thanks Madhouse, I did not know what to add for the adaptor. Hopefully I should have mine in about 3 months. Check was cashed one month ago today.
Re: mini-14
Yes, but you need to check when it was manufactured. Over the years they have been made with different barrel twist rates. Mine was made in 1986 and has a 1:7 rate, I think the newer ones have a 1:8, and some had a 1:9. Perfect Union BBS is probaly the most informative source on the mini-14 I have f...

Re: Looking for USG Extended Threaded Barrel
Yes it will. I have one threaded by Tornado and the workmanship is excellent. Looking at it you would swear it came from the factory threaded. Unforunately I am still waiting on my Spectre so I can't give a first hand account of how it will work yet. You need to keep in mind that both the Jarvis and...

Have started to see some .223 and 7.62x39 lately, occasionally some .40, have not seen 9mm or .45 in a couple months. Walked into Walmart last week and they had one ,380 bulk pack. 1st time I have seen .380 since about January.
