TL: DR This is the performance we should expect out of SS197SR, but yet they keep dialing it back. Fiocchi should really start mechanically crimping rounds. P90 feeding OK, PS90 not so. Could be gun, or could be the feed angle and bullet profile. Min velocity gain from 10" to 16". Consistent perform...

Review is done. If you want the lowest possible RDS mounting, then this cover and RDS mount are your Huckleberry. Some may not like the slide cover, so it may not be everyone's cup of tea. No issues at all after 1000 rds..

the coating helps the round "stick" in the chamber slightly longer to allow the blowback action to do it's job safely

The 8" version I reviewed had velocities very close to P90 SBR.
