I am sure this may be addressed already, but so many threads to sort through...
I installed the new ManKave rollers in an FN magazine.
As I was playing with it, the screeching that the spring makes going in and out sorta got me to thinking that
something could be done.
So got the can of dry lube spray and shot a couple of quick sprays down each side of the magazine.
It dramatically made a difference in the noise and seemed a whole lot easier to load.
So, just curious if anyone else has tried this??
I won't do the rest of the mags till I have run some rounds through this one just to make sure the dry lube doesn't have any adverse effect on it.

I've tried this as well. I've used graphite for my guitars headstock nuts so the strings ride smoothly in the nut channel when tuning. I took a No.2 pencil, shaved off a pile graphite and rubbed the black angled piece so it has coverage.I don't like the idea of spraying into the mag and having an excess build up where I don't want.

Of course but graphite is all over ammunition. It is used in smokeless powders extensively.

BadMrFrosty's using graphite from a powdering a No.2 pencil.
GONRA sez - MAYBE its "Just Fine" but remember - "pencil powdered graphite"
is NOT the commercially available "powdered graphite" product.
"Pencil lead" is a graphite CLAY BINDER mix that compacted and further processed.
CLAY don't sound gud!

Re: PS90 Magazine
Graphite was preferred in dusty West Texas because it doesn't attract dust. It works!

A product I use in my AR-15 magazines is Remington Dri-Lube.
It sprays on wet then dries and leaves a residue of dry Teflon.

Hmmmmmm... I have some Teflon bike chain dry lube. I've used it on my sliding door track and it works well. Maybe I'll try it on my PS90 action.
