PS90 Trigger Job

Post by gr8ful » 13 Dec 2015, 01:43

I see three different mods that may help lighten and tighten the stock trigger. I am wondering if anybody has done these and what their experience and results have been. Also I wonder if all three of these can be done together on the trigger group with success?

1. The AMP engineering trigger seems an improvement on the plastic trigger to aluminum bar stock.

2. Shortened Pull Aluminum Hammer seems good for taking out some of that trigger creep. And

3. The K&M Lightning trigger job getting the pull down from 7 lbs. and 10 ounces to 4.5 lbs. sounds even more promising and appears to be irreversible.

I Thank You Advance for your contributions to this thread. I am sure others will benefit from this experience and expertise and review this topic for years.

I went wit the shortened pull aluminum hammer. Easy to install, and instant results for a good price.

I was bored one evening and took mine apart and polished the steel trigger pushrod and put a little dry graphite lube everywhere it touched the stock. I didn't do a before and after trigger pull measurement, but the difference in feel was noticeable.

Did that result in a permanent irreversible mod to your trigger pack?

Also, that is bare aluminum. Do you think it would lend itself to anodizing?

Thank you!

Just curious, what did you use to polish the trigger bar? I would like to do this, but I have no experience in this.

Oh and the Orange Hammer by Man Kave is absolutely worth it. Everyone that has fired my PS90 with it notices a huge difference between this and stock.
