When a gun guy asks which gun he should get...

Post by nrv216 » 29 Jan 2015, 20:48

The answer is always both. A long time ago, I asked for some opinions about which gun to get and talked myself out of an mp5 clone...until now. Here is my new DJ Getz 94k PDW rifle in 9mm. So far it looks awesome! I will upload more pics and a range report after I fondle this baby for a few days straight!

Link? I'm not a member of the HK forum, but have fantasized about one since I knew about them.

Several options:

James, I know what you mean. I have always wanted an mp5 but never thought it was possible or worth it. I finally decided if it would make me happy it was totally worth it! Needless to say I'm happy! :D :D :D Dave Getz made it super easy to get my clone and is much less cost prohibitive then most other options. Let me know if you have any questions as I spent years looking at these things. Dave is also super helpful if you want to email him directly.

That is awesome!

My friend has an MP5 and the SD models and he's nice and let's people shoot them. I haven't, because I don't care for full auto guns or most HKs, but I think it is awesome that you got something you've always wanted!!!

Congrats dude! AND you got it suppressed.

Have you checked out the ACE stocks? I feel as if the shorter entry PDW stocks would be a VERY good fit for you.

I have one in the closet that I never use, if you're interested let me know. They are for busting down doors and super robust. After I saw the drop test on Magpul stocks, it worried me for a hard-use gun.

Thanks for the kind words blue! Unfortunately it is not a real suppressor...illinois... Hopefully I will be able to sbr it in a while though. I have heard awesome things about those ace stocks but I think my wife might kill me if I drop more money on this thing. Thanks for the offer though brother!

If I buy a pistol version, How difficult is it to add a stock after I receive my stamp?

James,

As easy as taking out two push pins, replacing the back plate with any HK compatible stock and replacing the pins.
