Which color T3b
I live in south Florida so there is not snow to worry about and I do not plan to even have night vision or those things that I've read about in other threads about which colors work best in which places...but what color would you pick and why? I was liking the blue for looks, but would like opinions too please. I plan to send my black ring out next week

Blue has always been superior in colour.satellitedr3ams wrote:Ive had em all. Blue is the "coolest" green is nice but if you are in a heavy foliage area i would reconsider. Of coarse red is the best, its been proven... but go with what you feel bro.
Amber is my favourite. Hot pink also works surprisingly well on chicks and reticles. That wasn't a joke.

Re: Which color T3b
I went with blue as well. It was very easy on my eyes. I don't know why, but the red scopes always gave me headaches if I used them for very long. I tried the blue and it didn't. It was nice and bright and my eyes actually found it somewhat soothing.
But this is just my personal experience and own opinion.

What are you trying to say!panzermk2 wrote:Vitaliy had Blue on his PS90 and i never liked it. I have green on mine and I love it.
Since they don't make pink (insert generic lame joke here), the closest I can get to it is Amber. I prefer it over the red. I like that blue is winning. Or did blue already win. :p
M1P90; in addition to selling EA to the 5.7 and 10mm to the competition shooters, I have been pushing your product, also. Namely the REM USG mod. I hope you have been receiving a few customers from my side of town.
I actually came from a bbq party in Round Rock at which I was repping for you tonight! It's 4am now. Time to go to bed.

Another reason for me thinking blue is because my eotech is red/green so it would be different lol. I'll make up my mind over the weekend I guess

Thanks Bro! :thumb: November and December were pretty good. I guess people wanted Christmas presents. It has been a little slow so far this January but heh... it usually is.blueorison wrote:What are you trying to say!panzermk2 wrote:Vitaliy had Blue on his PS90 and i never liked it. BTW... Blue is the easiest color on the eyes. I like red where I live because of the bright snow. red shows up best and is the brightest color on its highest setting.

Re: Which color T3b
well this kinda sucks...i just tried looking for it online and i come up with the "ways to spot a counterfeit"...i got this from a friend that got it from a cop friend of his that said his department replaced there optics so he bought it from them and told him it was an eotech. i dont recall why/how my buddy got it from him, but my buddy gave it to me for taking him shooting. so it was pretty much free to me, so no BIG lose, but still kinda sucks and ticks me off now knowing its a fake!

 I didn't know there were fake eotechs out there. I guess the Chinese will reproduce anything. I hope it works OK.

Re: Which color T3b
yeah it works great on my ar15 and has never lost zero after 1500+ rounds of it being on there....maybe if it was on a big boomer it wouldnt hold up so well, but with the ar15 it has worked fine.

Re: Which color T3b
Man, getting an EOtech just for taking someone shooting would be awesome!! It sucks that it is a knockoff, but at least you didn't have to shell out any cash for it. There are definitely fake Eotechs out there and they just dont measure up to the real deal.fzr confused wrote:well this kinda sucks...i just tried looking for it online and i come up with the "ways to spot a counterfeit"...i got this from a friend that got it from a cop friend of his that said his department replaced there optics so he bought it from them and told him it was an eotech. i dont recall why/how my buddy got it from him, but my buddy gave it to me for taking him shooting. so it was pretty much free to me, so no BIG lose, but still kinda sucks and ticks me off now knowing its a fake!
If you are only using it on a .223 I think you will be fine(who knows for how long...). But if you were jumping around and your rifle was taking abuse it probably would fail eventually. Dont put it on a 7.62 rifle like the scar though!!
What type of batteries does it take? AA?

Re: Which color T3b
yeah, it takes AA batteries. next time im in my safe i think i will take it off my gun and look for a real eotech. right now my funds are already being set aside for a 1911, so it will be awhile until i get an eotech. having a fake on there is annoying me now that i know!

Re: Which color T3b
My first question was why it did not have eotech on it. I was told "the police agencies had blank ones"...I'm just glad I did not pay for it lol

Re: Which color T3b
Yeah, but stamping on EOtech is very easy, so just because the hood says it, that doesn't mean it is legit still. You could take an EOtech hood off a real eotech and slap it on a knockoff (in theory) and the only way you could tell is by inspecting the sight and construction.fzr confused wrote:My first question was why it did not have eotech on it. So your EOtech knockoff has a green ring?? Can you post a picture? I gotta see that!

Re: Which color T3b
ouch, that is a pretty bad EOTech knockoff, thank God you got it for free!! It is cool that it allows you to change colors as well, I have never seen a sight that was able to do that without a modification.
On a side note, I too bought a REM T3b and I still havent had a chance to take it out, but I am pretty sure it is going to replace my EOTech on my ps90, I am that impressed with it!!
Range report to follow soon, the REM T3b is incredible!
edited to add, I went with Red on mine, I still prefer red over any color

yeah i love the Rem T3b it works amazing in every light.
like i said, the knockoff up there has still not lost zero one bit. but i will still be taking it off before my next range session with my RRA.
