Charges of "Stolen Valor" have become all to common lately. I don't know what goes through someone's mind to do this. I know someone who does this. I don't have any contact with that person anymore. I hope they through these people in dark, dark cells for a long time. Or even better, send them to the front lines and let them experience what a real hero experiences. :furious: I salute the true vets and heros that serve every day and earn the title "HERO"! :patriot:

Remember Hillary's "sniper" story, when she had to duck and run, bullets whizzing all around? It wasn't a lie, she just "misremembered".

Maybe these guys just "misremember" too

She is diffently the first person I'd send over to the front lines, without her SS Escorts.

I agree.
These guys want 'unearned glory'. They want the 'hero worship' without earning the right. They want people to look up to them with awe...to feed their own damned egos. They're slugs and should do time. Hard time in MILITARY prisons since that is what they are claiming. Let them make little rocks out of big rocks for 12 hours out of each day. Like that would ever happen...damned bleeding heart liberals would claim that all they ever did was run their friggin mouths. Free speech and all that.
They're cockroaches. They should be squished.
Every damned one of them. For every real hero who gave their life out there defending us there's a wannabe back here claiming they did something that they didn't and it burns my biscuits when these assholes get away with it with a slap on the hand or worse...they walk away and NOTHING happens to them.
Never confuse 'The will of the Majority' with 'The will of God'.

I say give them a chance to earn it. Instead of little rocks out of big rocks, send them to the front lines (preferably all in one platoon) & let them fend for themselves. Die a liar or earn what you claim. If you are for real, this won't be a problem for you.

If nothing else, maybe they'll intercept bullets that would otherwise be headed for real troops

Another case, this time by a marine. Different charges but same idea

A Marine Corps sergeant pleaded guilty Wednesday to faking post-traumatic stress disorder and pretending to be an injured hero to get in free to rock concerts and professional sporting events....
Remember that part of real soldiers having to prove their story? This is just going to drive that point in further.

I had to turn it off halfay through. What a FU*KING looser. I have never served in the Military, and this makes me screaming mad, I can not imagine what those who have served and sacrificed feel.
another one of the Armchair (barstool?) ..."If I told you, I would have to kill you" morons, who when asked where and with what unit they Served can not answer trufully.Taking advantage of the respect and Admiration reserved for those Troops returning from overseas is one of the Lowest forms of ID theft that there is. :furious:

although, there is one line in there which I do agree with..." undiagnosed severe mental illness" no <profanity>!

Texas man faked way into Army - Basically walked in as a Sargent based on allegedly having been in military before

FORT WORTH, Texas – A Texas man with no military experience tricked the Army into letting him enter a reserve unit as a noncommissioned officer earlier this year, a deception that placed an untrained soldier in a leadership position in a time of war, an Associated Press investigation has found.
