FS2000 raffle

Post by panzermk2 » 24 Aug 2008, 10:17

Hey guys
Here is the info for the Fred's raffle including a PM from Fred. Fred is one of the few pro 2nd amendment leaders in ILL. leading the fight for 2nd amendment rights and CCW in ILL.
Jay

Good Morning, I just wanted to thank everyone on your former site for taking part in the raffle. I have made contact with some wonderful people there and it saddens me that there are people out there that would sabotage such a friendly site. I signed up for the new forum but can't figure out how to post the raffle information so we can continue the sales. I must say, sales have taken a plunge since your site went down. At least 80% of my sales were through you. Can you help? The web address for the raffle is listed below.
Thank You for everything.

Fred Wescott
Winnebago County Board
District 9
815-985-3479

http://fredwescott.com/Conceal_And_Protect.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

A portion of the ticket proceeds will go to pay for the prizes, a donation to http://www.illinoiscarry.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and

Can we get a status update on the number of ticket sales? I should be able to buy a few more this week. :guns:

Currently about 250 tickets have been sold. The 57 forum crashing caused a hickup with the folkes from here buying them.

Today's payday so I'm in for a couple more. I'm going to give one to a coworker.
If he wins I'm going to take him drinking a pull a ticket swap though.
I just want to give the gift of presumed possibility. :D

What about those that are out of state. Do you have to be there to win or will you ship to the winners FFL dealer?

They will ship to winners FFL. Most of the tickets sold on through this forum are out of staters.

The pistol should be cool everywhere in PRK, but the rifle is a no-go in stock configuration. No FFL in the state would accept it that I know of. So when I win it, just send it to EA so I can exchange it for some ammo.

I wonder if Ears bought any raffle tickets?

He`s prolly hoping to win the monocle.

Ya know, with his bad eye sight and all.

And if he does win it, do we start calling him "Eyes".

I bought two tickets. I've never won anything at any raffle. I just look at it as a donation to a good cause. If I did win, I would just have to learn how to shoot the FS200 or the glock without seeing the target. My son could use the range finder to see how far off target I was. If Walker (Chuck Norris) can fight "blind" I can learn to shoot that way.

We will ship to your FFL dealer if you are the winner. We will be drawing on OCT 1, 2008 and we still have tickets to sell. Please get you last chance tickets today. If we actually make money, we will do this again, maybe 2 times a year so lets try and sell 100 more tickets so we can say it was profitable for a candidate to do this again. here is the link.

As of this morning ALL purchased tickets have had the stubs sent out. There was a delay in sending a couple due to my error but you will all have yours. We will be drawing on OCT 1, 2008 and we still have tickets to sell. Please get you last chance tickets today. If we actually make money, we will do this again, maybe 2 times a year so lets try and sell 100 more tickets so we can say it was profitable for a candidate to do this again. Here is the link again.

Anyone who has bought tickets and would like to add to your count, I have a detailed list so do so and send me an email so I can send you the bonus tickets as well.

Uh...what happens if you lose your tickets?

My wife went on a cleaning spree and tossed out some papers and the tickets were with them in an envelope. My mistake, I had left them in the kitchen hutch instead of moving them to the office.

Political tags — such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative,
and so forth — are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want
people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

Yep Tom has a horseshoe alright. So fare up his but it has not seen the light of day in years. I think we need to ban Tom from all raffles OR just automatically have Tom's prize ready to go seperate from the others. That way others have a chance.
