Bottom of 5.7 Brass Nicked

Post by Toaster » 16 Jul 2016, 09:10

Is it normal for the bottom lip of the brass to get cut or damaged after firing?

I was just looking at the spent brass and they all have light damage to the corner of it.

Curious is this was a 5.7 thing.

Yep, the ejector puts a little gouge in the rim due to the speed of the action cycling.

Some times you can polish the ejector to rid you of this issue.
