Long 5.56 NATO
Just picked up 1000 once-fired 5.56 NATO brasses from a guy, and today I resized about 80 rounds of it. 29 of them need trimming already. Is this normal for what I'm guessing was M855 fired from military M4s, or is this not once-fired as stated?

That thought crossed my mind too, hence the lack of staked primers, maybe belt fed doesn't need em?

Didn't know SAWs could take a mag. Do they have sloppy chambers?

...if you want it to jam. The cyclic rate, even after it was slowed down, is too fast for reliable mag feed. And now, back to your regularly scheduled thread...MrSlippyFist wrote:Could have been magazine fed into SAW.

I didn't say it could be used effectively in a SAW or that I condone it. In fact, it's a speedy way to fark up a magazine.

So would a SAW be the cause of this long brass, looser chamber for better feeding or something? Is NATO brass a nightmare to prime? I've actually managed to shear the rim off a couple cases with my hand primer, endd up having to prime the whole batch on my rock chucker.
