WTT: My adjustable for your fixed.

I picked up a brand new mk2 at the gun show Saturday and I wish it were the model with fixed sights. I would be open to swapping slides if that is the easiest method to resolve it. I'm located in Sarasota fl but I'm willing to swap by mail.

Slides don't swap backwards.

A MKII will work on older guns but you may run into issues using a MKI slide on a MKII.

Honestly you really don't want fixed. The point of impact from just the FNH ammo can be upwards of 6 inches at 20 feet vertically.

Did they not offer the mk2 in fixed sights?

Nope the MKI was only offered with fixed sights for a very short time and very limited run.

when i got my free replacement from FN they offered me upgraded fixed night sites....looking back should have told them no thanks. although, they did send me the old slide cover and adjustable sites back, maybe one day i will reinstall them. like jay says, fixed sites on the FsN is prob not the best option unless you will only shoot the same load, and just hope its on point for that load.
