Busse!

Post by Rover » 09 Oct 2008, 07:01

Besides being a gun guy I'm big into quality blades with my favorite being Busse. They make some of the best hard use knives out there.

Here's some of mine.

What would be an example of pricing on these knives. They certainly look the part. What type of steel does he use? Do you know the Rockwell on his blades?

Never mind on the info. I found their website and reviewed. Looks very good. I also found this site which has the test for this knife maker and others.

They gave a pretty good review. Thanks for the great pics!

They seem to work great on a mop handle, but I have newer been attacked by one, hahaha. They look pretty and I'm sure they have a nice price tag. Do they stay in the gun safe? Do they have a matching handgun to go with them? I'm kidding, I'm just happy that I am not the only one that diggs guns and blades. You win though, my little collection doesn't hold a candle to those bad boys. Hats Off to you, your wife is going to be pissed sbout her mop. :lmao:

My battle blade is a twin to this one, but in 4". I never really understood the bowie concept, and figured a 4" was very mobile and very leathal.

It is a companion to my Wilson Combat Compact Protector.

I'm a busse guy as well. for those who don't know there are 3 different companies that are in the Busse family. ScrapYard, SwampRat, and Busse Combat. You can find some really high quality blades with an unbeatable reputation and warranty. Right now there are quite a few models in the company stores. I suggest you guys try one at any price point oh are comfortable with.

Also check out the Scrapper 6 tests ans then snag a Regulator from the Scrap Yard store before they are gone. it's a incredible blade for the money.

Get rid of that Wilson and buy a couple Kimbers. They will shoot better, and you can have two for the price of one :p
