If you're so inclined, the advanced search option will let you save a search as a URL, for example:

search.php?keywords=holsters&terms=all& ... mit=Search" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This does two things:
It provides a direct link from the wiki to up-to-date content on the forum.
It shows how to use the search feature to do useful things.

The content that needs write-ups should probably have stubs that say [CONTENT GOES HERE] or somesuch.

Political tags — such as royalist, communist, democrat, populist, fascist, liberal, conservative,
and so forth — are never basic criteria. The human race divides politically into those who want
people to be controlled and those who have no such desire.

Thanks esteves. I'll keep workin on it; I get what you say, you're completely right. The advanced search tag would greatly benefit searchers by surfacing updated content and probably get people into the search system and using it much more efficiently.

I'll keep on it.

@Rapier: oh man forreal I had typos? I've been REALLY out of it because of school stress. My grammar and language has been all over the place. I'll go back and check the FsN article. The slashes appear when you use apostrophes so I've taken alot out. But I didn't get a chance to completely go through the rest of the articles besides the FsN and main site. The rest of the pages, I just moved the links to the corresp. page and made sure they worked.

I'll get on it.

See? Here we go again - "a lot" is two words!! What the hell are they teaching in college these days anyway? :p :p

Seriously blue, I doubt anyone but us smartasses is going to care. But even then, we don't really care. Thanks for everything you've done on the wiki, I kinda know how much of a pain it can be :thumb:

Yeah I always misspell it, but it's because I just let it go by. I like alot alot better than a lot. It seems so disjunct. I'm usually quite well with my rhetoric. I also purposely spell armour and colour. :) From my British days.

You might even find centre or aluminium.

@Rapier: it was kinda'f a pain; but what was worse was almost getting banned for telling all the newbs posting repeat threads each week to use the search function. :lmao:

haha okie, Esteves, probably did it incorrectly, but I put "GOES HERE" tags for FNP/X's, Tactical, bolt guns, and other (Hi-power, etc.) on the main page.

You just click on the button on the bottom left-hand side of the banner :)

I thought unregistered users could see the Forum Wiki? I tried to show a friend what was in it & where to find it but I had to sign in order to show him what we had.

Search function worked but no wiki :?:

There we go, wiki and archive are available to all. Thanks for bringing it up, its very seldom that I'm not logged into the forum, so I don't always see what guests are seeing (or not seeing).

Maybe I'm just old but you guys work the computer like you were born on it. Good job, I'll just keep stumbling along till I get it figured out. :thumb:
