Is there a way to search for sale items from3-4 years ago? I would like to contact a seller from whom I bought a gun at that time - this obviously is not in regards to any problem - we had some things in common and I wanted to renew that acquaintance.

Re: Search function
Do you know the person's screen name? If so, you can search for posts made by that person by clicking on the "Members" button & then "Find a member" at the top right of that display & input the user name. Additional tips and tricks are linked in my sig line but let's see if we can get you going.
At top right under the search window there is a link “Advanced Search” – not to worry, it’s not really that advanced
It will bring up a webpage with more options to filter/refine your search. The keyword is required but the rest is optional. You can search using additional information such as
• Author (if you know who wrote the post)
• What forum to look in (i.e. Classifieds, Firearms for Sale)
• You can just search the thread title for the keyword, just search the posts, or search both
Do not select a time frame, just go to the last page of your search & then work your way forward, dates will be on the right.

Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity.
