The problem is pushing the release date out...

Which problem? I don't regard the pump action as a problem. Nor do I consider the slam fire thing a problem. Each shot should be a deliberate squeeze of the trigger.

Their on the market! We'll just have to wait and see what kind of production numbers they hit

Will the sub 18" versions be sold as SBS or AOW?

Not sure, haven't seen a list on them. With the number of basic shotguns hitting the market it'll be debatable if the others produced

I do not like that bottom tactical model... it puts the back of my hand in front of the muzzle. (I'm not worried about shooting myself, but it seems like I'd have a pretty thick layer of GSR on me after a long day of fun.)

Just wash your hands.

I always have black hands by the time I'm done. GSR will get on you, regardless.
Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity.
The shooter will always matter more than the gear ever will.
Stop relying on others to do the work for you.
Shoot more, worry less.

Just found this review of the KSG
http://www.gunsamerica.com/blog/kel-tec ... ge-report/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Looks like KelTec did it right for the most part, just wish the price would come down a bit more :?: I know a few are opening at close to MSRP on gunbroker but the fanbois are still driving up the price :(

They also tested the Aguilla 1 3/4″ Minishells, which not only worked flawlessly, they also boosted the KSG's capacity to 24+1!

hmmmm, having 25 rounds on hand is definitely swaying my vote as to what one of my next purchases might be ;). the pattern at 10 yards is really not that good though. my saiga 12 by my bed is loaded with 3" 00 buck, which the more i think about it, is not the best load. it will more than likely (if not definitely) over penetrate a BD (assuming it is on target) and still go through an interior wall.

tried a quick youtube search and did not find any videos of the minishells vs drywall. the "flyers" are probably not as bad as the over penetrating 3" 00...not saying you should not be concerned about the flyers by any means. i am strictly stating i should probably rethink my current loadings as well as future loadings.
