recommend a red dot sight for a saiga 12

Post by nrv216 » 09 Jan 2012, 18:14

My buddy wants to put a red dot on his saiga twelve and doesn't want to spend a ton of money  . Any suggestions, red dot sights are not my department. Thanks.

Primary Arms.

Burris Fastfire II.

In opposite order of recommendation.

How does that burris hold up to 12ga recoil?

i would personally look for something bigger for a long gun. with the new mini red dots out, they weigh just a little more than a burris ff while giving a larger sight window.

By long gun I meant something that isn't a handgun

+1. My S12 has good sights, though. For fun I put on a BSA cheapie and it held up just fine. I prefer a traditional laser simply for shooting from the hip :p
