Check out this beauty

Post by Visceral_Malice » 28 Mar 2011, 21:56

http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2011 ... nd-badass/

This is another Neostead style bullpup shotgun which should be for sale this year. I actually like this a lot better than the Keltec offering; especially the part about it being able to automatically switch between magazine tubes and the see through receiver which has marks to count the remaining shells.

It looks quite large though, but that really doesn't bother me as I'm not a tiny fellow :p . I just hope the msrp isn't ridiculous and is somewhere near on par with the keltec.

Interesting, the KelTec does look a lot less bulky though.

True, the Kel-Tec looks sleeker. And say what you will, I'd like to see side rails  I'm curious though, there was an issue with the KT about racking+trigger in some combination would cause it to not fire and need to be re-racked, wasting a good shell, and I'd like to know if this is the same...that could be a big advantage.

The mag tubes appear to be on top of the barrel which seems to add to its bulky look. I'm hoping they don't have that same dead trigger issue and I feel like the auto-switch feature between magazines is a nice selling point personally.

**UPDATE: ** Great news. UTS will be manufacturing this shotgun in the United States for sale to consumers
.

Nice! Early reports were that we wouldn't be able to get out hands on them.

I saw that one a few days ago on the same site but back then it was NOT going to be sold to consumers. Glad they changed their mind

From the KSG thread
panzermk2 wrote:How often do you need to slam fire? Heck get an old Winchester trench shotty for about 200 bucks if you want to do that.
Also a shotgun action isn't exactly rocket science. Should take you about 10 minutes to switch over to slam fire.

I don't want to slam fire. But I also don't want my trigger to lock.

The Most Tactical Remington 870 Ever

Someone pimped out an 870. Bi-pod, red dot, rails, magpul sights, side saddles (2), laser/light, buttstock

It does look good although a bit ridiculous for a shotgun
