I have one of the latest versions where they changed the size of the loaded chamber window based on my recommendations

I have it with 2 barrel 6 and 8 inch.

Works fine so far, my only real complaint is the magazines. They could have done a better job engineering them.

NEVER take your magazine apart.

If all would indulge my venting for a moment, I am very disappointed in Excel's QC, and Customer service. If this pistol was test fired it would of been noticed. trigger transfer interferes with bolt causing VERY hard trigger pull. No fired cases came with gun. Customer service has been very nonchalant and don't really seem to care about bad word of mouth. They have been like "oh well we'll look into it". and don't return my communication for days. That all being said, I am now in the 4-6 week period and should be getting some news on my gun soon. I run a small gun business and really believe in customer service. If this was my company, I would really look into problems like this.
sorry all, and thanks. hope to post accuracy and velocity info when I eventually get gun back!!!!!

well, got pistol back. they put rear sight back on and did a little filling to slide. trigger pull seems much better, still too hard for a target gun in my opinion. doing some chrony work tomorrow with nos 40 gr, fbhp and 5.0 to 5.5 grns power pistol.
posting results soon. not too pleased with excel qc, but oh well lets see.

Casting defect, rear rail screw post, only has 3/4 threads, so it keeps coming loose, feed/ejection is horrible, they won't answer phone, return calls, or answer email.

I'm seriously thinking about bandsawing this thing into tiny little pieces and sending it back. F-'em.
