This is a thought that has been on my mind since i bought my first Desert Eagle. I have the Combo set for the DEagle (.357, .44, .50), anyways i have always wanted a 454 Casull semi-auto hand gun.

Anyways, i have talked to a gunsmith and we think we have a working plan to convert one of my DEagles and giver her a try. Just wondering if anyone out there has seen anything like it and if so, how it looked and worked.

Uh, that would be difficult. You are talking about a semi-auto handgun taking hi-power rifle like pressures. The 454 Casull has as much energy at 50 yards as a 50 AE has at muzzle point.

Don't get me wrong, it would be very cool, but I think the task is definitely daunting. That is a huge freakin round for a semi-auto.

Yes, i understand that. Its just something i thought "Hell, why not." just thought i would let it out there. I will start working on it when school starts and i get some money saved up. (College is gonna take all i made this summer)

Isn't the .454 considerably longer than both the .44 and the .50AE? I dont think it will fit in the frame.

Judge is nowhere as powerful as a 454 casull. 45 LC is pretty much a cap gun in comparison.

i have always wanted a raging bull...never really thought about it in a semi-auto though, hmmm...that could be fun!
