Well It arrived today.
fn pbr xp in 300WSM. I chose that because i plan to pick up a FNAR in 308. Oddly my stock is different than what is shown on the fn website.
Here is what is on the fn site.
http://www.fnhusa.com/mil/products/fire ... id=FNM0012" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I see that olive drab stock everywhere online.
what i picked up today is.

More closely the fore-end of the stock
I prefer the black, but the slats in the stock have me wondering. I have not seen a PBR or PBR xp with that stock. I was expecting the rubbery houge feel. yet this is textured and not sticky/clingy at all. dunno it has me puzzled

OMG are you serious?
Did he steal your money and lie to you?

LOL no,
He sends me the online adds from his wholesalers every few weeks. I saw the 300wsm pbr xp I had been jonesing after. Fora much better price that I have able to find locally. I had been as desperate as to try forums for a used one.
This is the add, He ordered it based off the add. It is my own fault for not reading it properly. Though, That being said. I like this stock a whole hell of alot more than the houge stock. The gun was ordered from CDNN from what i can tell.
FN
FN PBR XP 300WSM · 24" Medium Heavy Fluted Barrel · Coyote Lite
Synthetic Stock · Hinged Floorplate · New
#FN21863 ******
It is a fn pbr xp action. Both the barrel and the bolt have the same serial. It clearly says FN PBR XP (exact frasing i can't recal) all in all I am quite pleased with this little easter egg. I detested the olive drab and sticky clingyness of the houge.

Very cool! I'm thinking about picking up the 20 inch .308 PBR XP. I'll be interested to hear how this one shoots too! Congrats on a nice new rifle.

I have the same rifle. I was also wondering about the stock. The only thing I have done is I do dura coat out of the house and did a winter twig job on mine. Live in Alaska so it works well.
